Kate Spade got some new arrivals and I am in love! Scallops and floral prints, plus pink Keds. Perfect for spring (if only the weather could cooperate).

Life Lately
Hello! If you read my blog earlier in January, you may remember that I had a mysterious knee injury, well yesterday I had ACL surgery, so my next few days are gonna be me + a bed+ my laptop. So I'm not sure how exciting my posts will be, so I may not be posting as often, but once I can walk again I'm going to try more outfit posts!
But today here's a recap on my Instagram Posts lately (incase you don't follow me on insta, which you should @claireelise5)
Can it be summer already so I can wear shorts again? Just got these two from J.Crew on sale and I can not wait to style them!
Purchased my first Kendra Scotts from the Nordstroms Sale and now I am OBSESSED!
Had the most delicious Breakfast Quesadilla the other day. Made with eggs, feta, and chicken.
Coffee, need I say more?
Rocking bean boots a lot this season, especially with all the snow and slipper ice at my school
Studying and more coffee...Is anyone surprised by this?
My new favorite necklace combo, monogram + coordinates bar (both from Baubebar). The coordinates are for SF, my true home!

Coveted: Swim Cover-ups
One piece of clothing I have been recently coveting is a nice swim cover-up. Many of my favorite bloggers have been seen sporting cute cover-ups, and it is something that is quite useful for beach trips. They are easy transition pieces that you can wear from beach, to boardwalk shopping, to lunch or dinner. They are light and easy to wear, and come in handy if the weather starts to get chilly.
Seen any cute beach cover-ups? What are your favorites?

My Everyday Makeup
In all honesty I use very little make-up... In addition I consider myself really bad at putting makeup on. I can do all the basics but I don't do fancy cat-eyes, shadow combination, ect. So as the girl who does everything as simple and basic as possible here is what I use almost daily:
1. Tarte BB cream
2. Tarte Concealer
3.Bareminerals Powder Foundation (original and mineral veil)
4. Smashbox Mascara
5.. NARS eyeshadow primer
6. Naked Basics Eyeshadow Palette

J.Crew President's Day Sale Picks
Happy President's Days Weekend! Again Boston is getting blanketed in another snowstorm so I am spending the day inside studying and watching Lizzie McGuire on Youtube (flashback to my elementary school years...). I took a quick break to check out the J.Crew sale which is an additional 40-50% off sale items with code "WEEKENDMUST". I recommend checking it out, and here are a few of my picks from the sale. Hopefully once the weather becomes tolerable I will be able to style a few!
In search of other great sales?
Nordstroms is up to 40% off select items
Baublebar is doing 20% off sitewide (code: PREZ 20) or 25% off 3 items (Code: PREZ25) or 30% off 4 items (code: Prez30)
Vineyard Vines is extra 30% off Sale items with code SNOWDAY
Happy Shopping

Galentine's Day with Chocomize
There are a few food items I can't live without, and chocolate is one of them (when I studied in London I spent a day traveling to Cadbury a World to go visit their chocolate factory). So for a chocolate lover like me when I learned about Chocomize, a company from New York that makes customized Belgian chocolate bars, I had to try them out (what better way to treat yo' self during Valentine's Day?). They have thousands of options for customization or you can try a pre-made bar.
I chose to get a Milk Chocolate Bar with Candy Hearts, Orange Peels, and waffle crunch (pictured above)
Milk Chocolate with potato chips and graham crackers (I know, it sounds weird but the sweet and salty mix is the best!)
Milk Chocolate with pretzels, teddy Grahams, and ground coffee
Milk Chocolate., Caramel, Chocolate pearls and sea salt
And finally Dark Chocolate, ground coffee, coffee beans and chocolate pearls
And all bars are 100% delicious!

Weekend Recap
Hello! If you live in the Northeast I hope you're staying warm. I ventured out this past weekend for two fun events. First this past Friday through Sunday I helped staff a high school Model United Nations Conference, known as BosMUN, that my University hosts every year (if you have any Model UN related questions feel free to email me). This was my last BosMUN and I have to say the best one yet! I had such a great time, and now I'm getting nostalgic about never being able to staff again.
Here are some quick outfit pictures I took from this past weekend:
Skirt - Banana Republic (old)
Necklace - Baublebar
Scarf - ASOS (sold out)
On a totally different note, we had a snow day yesterday so my friend and I ventured over to MIT where the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, was giving a talk about innovation. If any of my readers are interested in details feel free to email me, but I'll just say that after studying abroad in London (with a professor who was obsessed with Boris) it was interesting to hear his insights on fostering start-ups.
Anyone else have exciting weekends? Comment Below!
