Hawaii Day 2

I'm so behind posting my photos from Hawaii (I'll do a whole trip wrap up soon), but I've been slowly adjusting to working full time (such a broken record).  BUT I promise that I'll begin posting more!

Back to Hawaii.  One of my favorite parts about visiting the Big Island is how un traditional/stereotypical the landscaping is.  The resort areas amp up the cheesy vacation vibe, but once you drive away there's lava rock everywhere (the Big Island is the only one with an active volcano left).  If you drive to the Hilo side of the Island you are practically in a rainforest.  Drive up to the mountains and there are farms full of cows, horses, and goats.  It's so unique and fun to explore.

Hawaii Day 1

Let me apologize in advance for the photo overload, but the sunsets in Hawaii are too beautiful to not take 100+ photos.  We arrived Monday afternoon on the Big Island around 3pm and went straight to the beach.  These photos though were taken before our dinner at the resort's Sushi restaurant where I had the best grilled Ono (a local type of fish) and really good Sake.  I wore my Lilly for Target dress that I scored and it was perfect.  My dress is no longer available but my shoes are from M. Gemi (sold out similar here) and my Necklace is from Baublebar

My Weekend in San Francisco

The Christmas Tree in Union Square
This past week I was lucky enough to to travel home for my thanksgiving break!  One of my favorite traditions is every Saturday after Thanksgiving my family, along with friends, venture into San Francisco for a day of Ice Skating, Shopping, and wandering!  I've lived my whole life no less than a 30 minute drive or BART ride from SF so I am very familiar with the city, but every time I visit I always have fun!

We always go to Embarcadero Center for Ice Skating, visit the Ferry building for coffee/hot chocolate, have lunch, wander over to Union Square to look at the Christmas decorations, and the Macy's Windows, where every year they put animals that are up for adoption from local shelters (too cute! I want to take them home every year!). After we usually check out shopping nearby, but this year we visited our family friends new condo, and let me tell you they have THE BEST view I have ever seen of San Francisco!  The weather was wonderful, and all in all it was the perfect day! Below are some photos I took this weekend!
