January Favorites
I finally got on the bandwagon of Topshop jeans (the ones with the holes in the knee) and oh boy am I glad! Not only are these jeans so incredibly comfortable (like they make me reconsider wearing leggings everyday) but they also are super flattering. Since their sizes are UK I sized up when I purchased and they fit perfectly!
Wasn't this product mentioned recently in another post? Well I have had this concealer for the past two weeks and have been using it nonstop! It is perfect for covering up everything, and it lasts all day without creasing (note I do set my concealer with this powder).
This has been my go-to everyday mascara. It provides the perfect amount of definition for daytime wear, while still making my lashes long and curled. Perfect for wearing to work, dinner, or out at night.
I received this in my January Birchbox and I have since fallen in love. This eyeliner is so easy to use, and it is so easy to make simple wings with! I was a little thrown off at first because the tip is pretty fat, but seriously I don't think I have ever owned a liquid eyeliner this easy to work with.
This primer hands down beats benefit POREfessional any day. This one actually minimizes my pores and acne scars so I give it a huge thumbs up.
These are freaking amazing. The scents alone. Seriously go out to a lush and smell Prince Charming (their seasonal scent for Valentines Day). I actually want to go back and purchase like 10 of them, it smells that good. Lord of Misrule is a nice scent also, but I think that was a holiday seasonal scent so I am not sure if they still have it (my lush after Christmas was selling them as a BOGO deal).
This product is super basic but I received this over the holidays and. Have been loving it. Mine is one of the smaller sizes (I think .75in) but I have been loving wearing this everyday as a simple addition to any outfit.

February Outfit Inspiration
*More Accurate title would be Outfit/Makeup inspiration, plus a cute candle... but really this title is too long amirite?*
Guys, February 1st is this coming Monday (what?!) Where did January go? When I think of February I think of Pink and Red (though I personally like the color pink better), so when thinking of outfit inspiration I immediately am drawn to bright pinks, reds, and hearts. I've put together one daytime and one night outfit, plus plenty of accessories (seriously love the Kendra Scott earrings and I have both Naked 3 and Too Faced Bon Bons and you can go wrong with either!). You can find all the items (or something very similar) linked down below.

Makeup to try in 2016
Disclaimer: I am in no way a beauty expert. I just enjoy trying out new products (especially ones I have heard rave reviews from my favorite YouTubers.
Of course after I draft this post I fall down the YouTube rabbit hole and find so many more products to try in 2016, but here are the main 10 products that I have been dying to try. I seriously spend way to much time on YouTube watching reviews, demos, and haul videos of makeup products, so narrowing down this list in the first place was quite difficult. But I do only have one face, and therefore really shouldn't need half the makeup I already have. Nonetheless I am hoping to pick up some of these products over the course of the year.
(Order Top L - R, then Bottom L-R)
I love Buxom lip products and have been really interested in trying out their shadows (especially after hearing a great review from Tati of Glamlifeguru on YT). My only qualm is the price (40$ for 6 shadows!), but the nice thing is he packaging is reusable with all other Buxom shadows. Will probably try to grab this during a Sephora VIB sale.
So many YouTubers have been raving about this palette. I have KVDs Monarch eye palette and absolutely love it and the color payoff so I can only imagine that her face contour palette would be amazing. Another product I am hoping to snag during a VIB sale!
The swatches I've seen of these look beautiful! I've been really into highlighting lately so of course I have been lusting after these.
Once I've run out of my current stash of eyeliner I'm planning on trying out this one! Another item I've heard raves about so I'm curious to see how I like it.
UD is without a doubt one of my favorite brands, and I've walked by and swatched a few of these in Sephora many times, just haven't quite pulled the trigger and purchased one. My hesitation has been that I have so many eye shadows! And in my daily life I never wear shimmers, but maybe this year I'll snag one (then fall in love and want to purchase them all).
Marc Jacobs products have been everywhere the past year. I've always loved their eyeliner, and recently fallen in love with their blush, plus a girl can never have too many lipsticks, right...
Another product that I've heard so much about. Primers for me rarely blow me away, I've tried POREfessional (meh), Dr. Brandt Pores No More (good), Bareminerals Blemish Therapy Mattifying (good), Laura Mercier (meh). After hearing so much though I am curious to see how MUFEs will stack up. They have different types to target different skin concerns, I'm hoping to try the smoothing one!
Another product that is all over YT. It gets mixed reviews, but seeing as it is a drugstore product the price tag is fairer than the other Cushion style foundations that are widely available stateside (Amore Pacific and Lancôme). Plus I really like the Lumi Highlighter Stick from L'Oreal, so I'm hoping this product will work out!
I'm almost out of my current favorite Concealer (Tarte Maracuja Creasless Concealer), so I'm thinking (and by thinking I may have already placed an order from Sephora 🙈) of trying this one next.
A very high end foundation (aka something to pick up during a Sephora sale, especially since my skin is so finicky with foundations) that so many people have been raving about. Supposedly it makes your skin look amazing, though not sure how much nicer it will be than my Too Faced Born this way.
What are makeup products you are interested in trying out this year? I'm always looking for suggestions!

Great Gifts Under $25
Hello Friends! Today I am coming to you with another gift guide, this one filled with gifts under $25! Incase you missed my last few holiday gift guides I have put up a $10 and under gift guide, and a Holiday Decoration Gift Guide.
I love getting makeup for the holidays. I think it is so fun to get a cute little makeup bag, plus some little either minis of products, or fun full sized products. I have linked a few down below that I love (Too Faced Melted Lipstick, M.A.C. Lipstick, NARS Duo, Anastasia Brow Wiz). if you have a friend who is not huge into makeup then I personally think you can't go wrong with a scarf or sweater (perfect for the season).
If you are still struggling finding those gifts for friends or family I hope this gift guide helps. I'll be putting up more as the holiday season continues, so come back to see other ideas.

Holiday Decor to Gift and Keep
Every year after Thanksgiving my family starts decorating for the holidays. The following Friday we always pick out our tree, and slowly start bringing up boxes of ornaments, garland, and fun festive trinkets. I've rounded up some adorable little holiday decor pieces perfect for yourself or as a gift (to a friend, hostess, ect.) I especially love all the candle scents and ornaments. I think they make great, simple gifts around the holidays. I recently purchased the skyline candle (first row, farthest on the right) at Anthropologie, and they all smell amazing! Fun garland or twinkle lights are perfect to hang up in a room (including college dorms) to brighten up your space. These picks all happen to be from Anthropologie because honestly whenever I walk in their store I fall in love with everything.
What are your favorite holiday decor pieces? I love finding new fun pieces!
