Updates

Hey Guys,

Has anyone else felt like this week has just flown by?  I have spent this week keeping busy working on my room redecoration project and working on updating my blog a bit.  Incase you haven't noticed I've added a "Shop" page to my blog.  Through there you can check out both my current Wishlist and some of my personal recommendations (products I've had for years like my Longchamp and products I am currently obsessed with like this and this)

Here is what is on my list currently, but be sure to check back for seasonal updates (I've put mostly summer items up, but once fall rolls around I will be sure to update this list).  

Anyhoo I hope you all have a great and relaxing weekend!  Our weather is supposed to be in the 80's this weekend so I'm definitely going to be spending it outdoors enjoying the warmth!  

Summertime Blues

Here's a fun little outfit I styled to go run some errands in earlier this week.  I personally love wearing blue stripes.   I also love wearing seersucker.  This outfit happily combines the two.  I paired the two blue pieces with one of my favorite totes from C.Wonder (#rip).  I initially picked this bag because of the color, but then realized I have a serious stripe theme going on between my shirt, skirt, and the Zebras on the tote (I swear this was unintentional). While this bag is no longer available I've linked similar styles below.  I'm personally a huge fan of big bags, the bigger the better in my opinion, and that is just what I love about this Tote.  Plus the fun monogram, that helps too.

Summer Bucket List

Now that Memorial Day is over it is officially summertime!   Summer has always been one of my favorite seasons.  I love warm weather and spending time outside (especially if it is by the pool, with a cocktail in hand).  Here is a short list of fun things I want to get done this summer:

1. Take trips to the beach

2. Clean and redecorate my room

3. Clean out my closet (will be posting old clothes on Poshmark!)

4. Read at least 4 new books

5. Try 10 new recipes (I've already made this new one that is delicious!)

Summer Uniform

This outfit isn't the most original, but it is by far the most worn in my closet.  In the summer I am always grabbing light button-ups and chino shorts to wear.  I love that J.Crew always has so many fun colors of both that it is so easy to mix and match colors.  I also love these Rebecca Minkoff Gladiator sandals.  I purchased these when they were on sale in March, and just pulled them out and they are so comfy! Finally the bright colored tassel bracelet, I AM OBSESSED.  I've been throwing this bracelet on to wear with every outfit possible (even if I'm laying around in workout clothes) but I just love how fun it is.

Happy Memorial Day!  Who doesn't love a nice long and relaxing weekend?
